I have some troubles to configure the protoctor Mail server with Microosoft 365.
I get this error.
Incoming mails are effected.
I configure the protector as primary MX when I do the config.
Because it is not working I revert the MX to Outlook, otherwise my client cannot receive mail during the day.
So since this morning the primary MX is Outlook.
Found the problem:
There was a mistake in the “Delivers to mail server” and “Port number” fields.
- Mail to Domain = domain of the client
- Delivers to mail server = MX record of client in M365 (I had the smtp.office365.com here)
- Port number = 25 (I had port 587 here)
- Use TLS = yes
- Username
- Password
- Authentication mechanism = PLAIN
