I ask if it can have subnet routing capabilities is because let's say the device behind the Protector cannot install Wireguard but remote user still needs to access it.

Wireguard creates a subnet, but it doesn0t behave like a router. Therefore, if the allowed IPs are 10.0.0.0/24, only devices in this subnet can see each others.
However the Protector allows to create routing rules, and maybe this feature can be used to correctly route traffic from Wireguard to 192.168.2.0/x
