SecPoint is not recognizing my 2nd Network Adapter. I have one Vswitch with CFS LAN and a 2nd Vswitch with Internet. SecPoint only shows Lan and does not show Internet to allow me to configure it.
I want to operate in Internal Bridge Mode.
I also removed the adapters in VSwitch and added them back as Legacy Adapters. Still, when the Protector starts it only shows the one LAN adapter. It does not show the Internet adapter.
I have not assigned an IP address to the Internet adapter on the Hyper-V host. It is a direct Internet link and I wanted to only assign that address on the Protector. Would that be causing the problem?
I have decided to do an Internal Bridge and place SecPoint behind my Sonicwall firewall. So I no longer need a 2nd nic card.
Now I would like to set the port for web proxy (8080 or similar). Is it possible to set the port or, if not, what is the default port for web proxy?
When the web proxy only is active, it uses port 3128. When the web filter is active too, it uses port 8080. It will be more easy run bridge mode so it can take the ports automatically.
Otherwise they need to configuring all the clients to explicitly point to the web filter/proxy.
"Other" means the adapters from eth2 upwards, because eth0 and eth1 are
already used by the bridge br0. So, Other Adapters will never show eth1.
As far as I can see, the bridge should work. The devices that connect
through the bridge will receive an IP from the DHCP server in the same LAN
as the Protector.
